When talking about Katrina’s flooding of New Orleans with the volunteers last week, I realized that I wasn’t very good at explaining it in words. So, here is a link to a flash video of the flooding:

Its pictures and captions will surely do a much better job than me in describing what happened on the South Shore during August 29th – September 1st, 2005.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t deal much at all with what happened on the North Shore during Katrina – which is where PCO has focused most of its work in the last four years. Look for more information in the near future about how Katrina hit and flooded Slidell and the rest of the North Shore.
